Students, please have your projects in no later than the  3rd Augus         t 
as judging is the next day, on the 4th August                                                            .

Jupiter and Venus align over New Zealand ... Have a look ... So easy to spot :-)

Tonight Venus and Jupiter will be Closer than they have been in 24 years!

Venus is named after the Goddess of Love, and Jupiter after the God of Thunder, look like a bright and dramatic double star.  While they will look similar in size, Jupiter is actually the largest planet in our solar system and Venus is smaller than Earth.  Thanks to the clouds for keeping away.
